I entered The Salvation Army Training College for Officers in Jamaica in 1981. After two years of extensive study in theology, church administration , and principles and regulations for The Salvation Army officers (pastors), I was commissioned as an officer (pastor).
In 2001 while I was working at The Salvation Army head office for the Caribbean in Jamaica, I came across Master's International University of Divinity via the internet. Then some months later, I began my first degree program.
Today I want to declare publicly that Master's has made me a better pastor. The many courses I took from this great university have truly equipped me for the pastoral ministry I am involved in. Both my wife Joan and I are continuing as students of MIUD, and we are delighted and tremendously blessed to be a part of this prestigious learning institution. To God be the glory - Great things he has done! Jean & Joan Cantave, MIUD Graduates
