What are the best ways to study the Bible?

This may seem like a simple question, and one with an easy answer.  But is that the case?

Actually, there are many ways to study the Bible, but the proper method remains a mystery to many, even to some mature Christians.

Too often, the Bible is studied without much thought given to the method.  This can result in a misunderstanding of what the Bible is actually teaching.  It can even result in doctrinal error.

So, is there a tried and proven method of Bible study that avoids misunderstanding, and results in getting the most Biblical truth?  The answer is YES!

MIUD invites you to take this short course on how to study the Bible taught by a great man of God who is known as the Father of Theological Distance Education in America.

The Man & His Method

Dr. Robert G. Witty (1906 - 2007), is known as the Father of Theological Distance Education in America. His contribution to Christian ministry spanned nearly 87 of his 100 years. Remembered as the founder of Luther Rice Seminary (1962), and author of many books, Dr. Witty pioneered the distance education ministry format that is today so widely accepted.

Dr. Witty was a founding faculty member of MIUD, and for nearly twenty years was a close friend and ministry mentor of MIUD founder, Dr. Dennis D. Frey. As one of his many contributions, Dr. Witty recorded his personal view on how to study the Bible. His classic approach was developed and honed over a period of more than 80 years. This incredible treasure trove of knowledge will enrich and enlighten any Bible student from the youngest to the oldest.
